Admission Rules
A child can be registered at any point of time after his / her birth. Registered candidates, fulfilling the age and other admission criteria, are eligible to appear in the written entrance cum assessment test. Registration does not guarantee admission; it is subjected to the written test conducted by the school. If a candidate fails in the written test or fails to appear in the test on the given date, his / her registration will lapse and the registration fee will be forfeited.
Admission
After Registration, the candidate has to appear for an entrance cum assessment test followed by an interview with the Principal. Parents will be intimated through telephone or by mail about the date and syllabus of test. Candidates qualifying the test will be granted admission, subject to the availability of seats. However the admission committee reserves the right to select the candidate on the basis of his / her performance in the written test, interview with Principal and his / her aptitude, personality, intelligence etc.
When the candidate is selected for the admission, he / she is required to fulfill all the documentary formalities and pay the necessary fees within a week, failing which the admission committee reserves the right to offer the seat to another candidate in the waiting list. The candidate joining from other school must carry the Original Copy of Transfer Certificate from the previous school. A Character Certificate from the previous school is compulsory for the student joining in Class XI. The date of birth as declared at the time of admission cannot be changed later on. The decision of the Admission Committee will be final in all cases. The Principal is not bound to furnish any reason for the rejection of any application for admission.

- Aadhaar Card Photocopy of both Father & Mother.

General Information & Rules
School Uniform
The school provides uniform to the students at the actual costs. A ‘List of Articles’ to be brought by the students’ is provided to the new entrants. Parents must ensure that exactly the same quantity and type of items are sent with the child. No expensive personal items are allowed, they may be confiscated or the school will not be responsible for the loss or damage of such things.
School Terms
- Term I – April to September
- Term II – October to March
Parents' / Guardians' Visits
It is mandatory for the parents / guardians to attend the Induction Ceremony, Founder’s Day Celebration and all PTA meetings.
Parents must visit their wards only as per the dates and timings mentioned in the yearly school calender.
Scholarship
Pestle Weed is offering education to the needy and academically exceptional students by giving them scholarship in order of merit.
Fees
Fee has to be paid in two installments, first installment at the time of admission / by 31st March and second by 15th August. The child will not be allowed to attend classes and no transfer certificates will be issued until all dues are cleared. Fee has to be paid by the dates mentioned above otherwise there will be a penal charge @1.5% per month after the said dates. Name of the child can be struck off the rolls if there is an undue delay in the payment of the fee. There will be no reduction of fee on the grounds of holiday / forced closure or absence fro any reason whatsoever.
Withdrawals
No withdrawals are allowed in the middle of the session. Parent intending to discontinue the education of their child from next session must give a prior notice in writing to reach the Principal not less than 3 month (i.e. by 31st December) before the commencement of the next session. Failing this the security deposit and fee will be forfeited. If the withdrawal is demanded on the a short notice, the school shall charge the fee for full on term. Parents withdrawing their child in the middle of the session will not be entitled to any refund.
Other Rules
If the student reports late to the school after vacation / break without prior information and approval thereof by the competent authority, his / her name may be struck off the school roll and the principal only reserves the right to consider re-admission.
Students not observing the code of conduct of the school will be issued Yellow, Blue and Red Cards depending upon the intensity of misconduct. Issuance of three Red Cards in a quick succession may lead to the expulsion of the offender from the school on disciplinary grounds.
Any disputes and / or claim of any nature whatsoever will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Dehradun court only. The school reserves all rights to change / delete or revise any information in this site without any prior notice of intimation.
